Recognition for Committed Employers

This competition, titled My Boss is the Best!, aimed to recognize employers who promote work-study balance, a crucial issue for young people in the region.
The jury, composed of Frédéric Perrier (CCIVS), Joanne Brunet (DEV) and Myriam Sweeney (Pôle Réussite Montérégie), anonymously evaluated the testimonials received, based solely on the quality of the content and the relevance of actions taken to support study-work balance.

The three winning companies

1. Jean-Christophe Boutin – Crèmerie 4 coins
2. Catherine Millard – City of Vaudreuil-Dorion, Aquatics and Boating Program
3. Chantal Darcy – Prenatal and Young Families Centre

The testimonials from the young employees particularly touched the jury. They highlighted employers who were caring, attentive, and invested in the personal and professional development of their student staff.

An evening filled with emotion and gratitude

During her address, Cinthia Bourgon, project manager at CJE Vaudreuil-Soulanges, reiterated how essential the role of employers is in the journey of young people:

"Your recognition is invaluable. By supporting their educational journey, you directly contribute to their quality of life and the economic vitality of the entire Vaudreuil-Soulanges community."

The three young people who submitted the winning testimonials received scholarships of $300, $200, and $100, while Jean-Christophe Boutin, from Crèmerie 4 coins, won the Grand Prize Trophy, thanks to the heartfelt testimony ofAntoine Lapointe.
